About me
I can't sing and I can't roller skate or climb ladders.
I really like computers.
In 1975, I learned computer programming and became a Systems Programmer, using BAL and COBOL.
Now, I can't imagine life without using my computer daily.
20 years later, I was downsized among several hundred other employees.
I was too young to retire. Since then I have been a manager of a fabric store, a partner in an estate liquidation company and a caregiver (not all at the same time).
I have successfully completed the Quick Books bookkeeping course and earned a ProAdvisor rating.
As a knitter, I have patience to untangle yarn. As a knitting teacher, the best part was when someone succeeded and smiled. Helping people makes me happy.

On a more personal note
As the first child, I got to help my father on some of his weekend projects.
I am still pretty handy with my own collection of tools.

Now I am improving my cooking skills and collecting great recipes; an easy German Apple Pancake and Popovers that do not set off the smoke alarm.
